From defibrillators, microwave image systems, plasmonic biosensors and biologically-inspired computational systems, different technologies have the potential to enable new paradigms for the future of healthcare, sport science and other biomedical domains.

With the sponsorship of SINTEC project and of Uppsala University, the Microwaves in Medical Engineering Group offered a space where 5 speakers from different countries comes to give their views on technologies with the potential to enable biomedical applications.

The seminars were offered to The Angstrom Laboratory community and allowed deeper discussions to enhance collaboration with University of Tehran (Iran), University of Buenos Aires (Argentina), University of Medical Science and Technology (Sudan) and Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (USA).
