SINTEC project partner, Prof. Robin Augustin, and Prof. Paul Meaney are editors of a special issue of Sensors called to “Biomedical Microwave Sensorsfor point-of-care applications”. Researchers are asked to submit their papers for this issue until February 28th, 2021.

This Special Issue will  focus on various clinical needs that microwave sensors could address and, thus, attract more research in thepoint of care area. Moreover, it will show different enabling technologies that microwave transmission could bring about which also has fundamental connections to Fat-IBC.

Sensors is a leading journal devoted to fast publication of the latest achievements of technological developments and scientific research in the huge area of physical, chemical and biochemical sensors, including remote sensing and sensor networks. Both experimental and theoretical papers are
published, including all aspects of sensor design, technology, proof of concept and application. Sensors organizes Special Issues devoted to specific sensing areas and applications each year.
