14 – 15 January 2020 | Amsterdam (The Netherlands)

On the 14th and 15th of January 2020, SINTEC project partners met in Amsterdam (The Netherlands) for the 2nd Project Technical Meeting. The meeting was organized by the partner EVALAN who hosted the Consortium at the FreedomLab Campus, a very innovative co-working space.

For the first time, the meeting was held in front of an Ethical Committee composed by 2 experts in ethical issues who will help the partners to be compliant with EU rules and legislation, mainly for the 2 project pilots’ in clinical and sport environments. For this reason, the Project Coordinator, Prof. Klas Hjort, opened the meeting with a short description of the project and with a quick presentation of all the partners. A special session dedicated to ethical issues was organized during the afternoon of the first day of the meeting.

The rest of the first day of the meeting was dedicated to results achieved so far and latest activities: a first stretchable patch prototype has been developed so partners are now trying to identify the pros and cons of this trial.

The second day was dedicated to the next steps and to the definition of the activities for the next 6 months. Moreover, the partners had the opportunity to visit EVALAN Headquarter and to find out some interesting IoT project the Company is involved in.

Next face-to-face meeting is planned for September 2020 with the 2nd project review.
